Adventures in Guam

So, here's something I could have said that I've never done before (until last weekend, that is):

Swim in the ocean.

Yup, that's right. Scaredy pants Ashley actually swam in the ocean. Are you proud of me or what? Although, it was only for less than five minutes. I really did it! Since it was only for five minutes and I insisted that Josh be in the water with me to save me in case I drown (or a shark attack), there was no picture taken. But, here is a picture of me on the boat before I jumped in.

I bought the green swim suit at Target in Avondale before I left (gotta love Target's cheap cute swim suits!) because Josh loves green, and duh it's Guam, I'm going to need tons of swim suits!

Question: Where in the world can you see a Boonie dolphin, pig, cow, deer, and flying fish all in one day?


Answer: GUAM

My First Post

Okay, so let me introduce myself.

My name is Ashley Davis- well now I am actually Ashley Gonzales. I still don't feel like that is my name though. I haven't gotten used to it yet. So you can call me whatever you want :)

This is an old picture of me, I know, but it's a senior picture and my favorite! Plus it reminds me of home, and I am homesick like no other.

I recently got married to Joshua Gonzales! He's in the air force and we are stationed in the lovely U.S. territory of Guam.

(I wonder why they never taught us in school about Guam being a U.S. territory...I mean I learned about Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic...)

Anyway, I now have all the time in the world in my hands.

Hence, this blog.

Now all my friends and family (or whoever else wants to read) can be kept up to date on everything going on with me in my new life.
